Our summer riding camp revolves around equine activities so during non-riding activity periods we offer the option of taking classes in equestrian farm management.
- Campers learn the importance of creating and maintaining a daily stable checklist to create a safe and sanitary environment for our horses and campers
- Our horse training classes enables our campers to understand how horses perceive physical and vocal cues in order to become more effective riders
- The equine health and wellness classes include instruction in basic first aid for horses, Our staff use hands on instruction to instruct campers how treat minor wounds, injuries or sickness. With over 40 horses and ponies, there are always a small number that require basic medical attention.
Additional activities our campers participate in include waterskiing, tennis, arts and and crafts, swimming.
Our heated swimming pool and water skiing is under the supervision of a Red Cross certified lifeguard and water safety instructor.
